The tanking will stop the wet room from leaking and causing costly damage, and the falls of the tray will help water flow into the drain. This doesn’t mean to say that the visible parts of the wet room are not important, and we understand that clients will want an attractive looking walk-in shower – all the way down to the drain cover.

Our walk in shower trays are designed to fit either a standard horizontal or linear drain depending on which you choose. For each drain shape there are two cover options – a stainless steel cover or a tileable one. Each horizontal drain kit comes with a different cover, there are three to choose from, whereas the linear drain requires you to purchase a cover separately.

The horizontal, or square, drain comes with a basic stainless steel cover. Also available is the designer stainless steel cover which has a modern grate design which is screwed down – making it hardwearing and therefore perfect for commercial applications. The tileable cover allows you to use the same tiles throughout the wet room floor, creating a stylish and co-ordinated look. The tileable drain is only suitable where the tile thickness plus the tile adhesive thickness is a minimum of 13mm.

The stainless steel cover for the linear drain is simple, but adds a modern look to any wet room. The tileable cover allows you to create a seamless look in your wet room by using the same tiles throughout.
